Actor
Josh Reiter: Actor
With over a decade of professional experience in film, television, voice-over, and theatre, I'm a versatile actor with a unique perspective shaped by my love of both sitcoms and dramas. I bring groundedness and heart to my comedic performances, and lightness and levity to my dramatic roles. On television, I've appeared in comedies like Saved By The Bell (Peacock) and The Michael Blackson Show (BET+), and on stage, I've performed in theaters across the country in roles such as Eugene Morris Jerome in The Brighton Beach Memoir Trilogy, Rosencrantz in Hamlet, the Gangsters in The Drowsy Chaperone, and many more. I'm a trained actor with a passion for collaboration, and I cherish every opportunity to bring my authentic self to each role I play.
The Michael Blackson Show
Playing Carson in Season One of The Michael Blackson Show was a blast! I got to flex my improv skills and have some hilarious volleys with Michael Blackson, some of which even made the final cut. Fingers crossed we'll be back to finish the season after the strikes are resolved. I put my drama school memorization training to good use, since we shot all the episodes in three and a half days. It was acting bootcamp, and I loved every minute of it.
Warped!
This Nickelodeon comedy about teens working in a comic book store was magical! I recurred as "Arnold the Magnificent," but the casting directors must have thought I was a real magician (I'm definitely not). I taught myself some tricks on YouTube before we shot, and thankfully I wasn't fired. They even brought me back for more episodes, but with less magic. (Sorry, not sorry.) I was fully channeling Gob Bluth from Arrested Development, and I have no regrets.
Saved By The Bell
Playing Tanner in the Saved By the Bell reboot on Peacock was a dream come true, especially since it was written by some of the same geniuses behind 30 Rock, my favorite childhood comedy. I knew exactly how to approach the role, and I had a blast filming the first half of the episode in early 2020... right before COVID shut everything down. We resumed filming in September, and I was so grateful to be back on set with the cast and crew. It was the perfect introduction to working in television, and I'm now completely addicted.
